Activity Ideas

Activity Ideas ∞

Schools for Schools clubs are high energy and engaging (because global citizens often are) and passionate about learning new things. Use a variety of collaborative, short activities to make friends, learn about people and places across the world, and do something to make real change together with students at your Sister School in Uganda.

  • Ice breakers are our specialty! Questions that help you learn about other people are a great way to connect. Like, “What kitchen utensil would you have instead of hands?

  • The Lakewood High School club created “Countin’ Down The Countries” (in an American southern accent) to hone their geography skills as a club. You can use sites like this one to see how many countries your club can identify in 5 minutes.

Pro Tip: Have your club members or leaders choose an interesting video from a country of their choosing to share with members after finishing this game!

  • Host a night-time, school wide “Global Meet Up” where students, teachers and parents can buy tickets to come to a virtual “Meet Up” with a panel of students from your Sister School in Uganda! (*8am in Uganda is 10pm here!)
