Your gift doesn’t just impact students, it helps local business thrive.
The Market Day Fund
We’ve all seen it before — nonprofits or church groups encouraging you to donate your old junk to support “needy” communities across the world. Handouts, freebies and old junk doesn’t help sustainably lift anyone out of generational poverty. Investment does.
By hiring a local tailor to hand-sew our student’s uniforms, buying tomatoes for our student’s lunches from the ladies in our village or purchasing livestock locally, YOU can make a bigger impact by stimulating local economies and keeping small businesses in business.
You shop. Businesses grow. Students thrive.
How it works: Fill your cart, and we’ll purchase your items from local businesses in our village.
Our team is standing by to purchase your items for our school from local vendors in Amolatar and Lira, Uganda. 100% of your purchase is deployed directly to our local team who will then shop for your tomatoes from our friend near the lake, grab your goat from our local livestock rearer, and purchase boxes of chalk from the stationary shop in town.
